Biologists have found that the occurrence of mottled coloring cat is a mutation in the gene spot. Work published in the journal Science, and its contents resulting Science Now.

Nanotechnology in the wild

Scientists first discovered the cases of pristine breeding snakes in the wild

Parthenogenesis or the so-called virgin (or same-sex) reproduction is a form of sexual reproduction where the egg develops into an adult organism without fertilization. Cases of parthenogenesis occur in many species of animals, such as chickens, turkeys, lizards, sharks, insects, and others.

Among vertebrates unisexual reproduction is particularly common in captivity. Scientists believe this is a desperate attempt to continue the race in the absence of access to the male species.
