Astronomer captures the recent phenomenal gamma-ray burst

RayVigilance and a bit of luck recently gave an amateur astronomer chance to enjoy the unique cosmic event in real time.

April 27, 2013 long gamma-ray burst was recorded in the north-eastern part of the constellation of Leo. This explosion was the most high energy of gamma-ray bursts recorded in history, reaching a maximum energy of 94 billion electron volts.
