Tremors lasted about 20 seconds. The incident resulted in no permits, no casualties. This earthquake reminds us that the processes that generate such powerful earthquakes, active, and so we must be ready, – said Joan Lachman.
She recalled that since the beginning of this year in the region recorded a significant increase in seismic activity. We can not say the exact day, hour or place, but there are some areas in the eastern part of the Caribbean, where a strong earthquake could happen – said seismologist.
