They are called fossil unidentified objects (NCI), or artifacts. Typically, NIO consist of one or another metal. A puzzle blocked – that they occur in the rock layers historically coincides with the time when the world in principle could not only be treated, but simply any one smelted metal.
The most famous of the artifacts – of course, the famous Salzburg parallelepiped. It was discovered in 1885 in the English city Shendorfe in a piece of brown coal at the mine. Unusually, it was something that belonged to the coal strata of the Tertiary period. The very same NIO size of 67 x 62 x 47 mm and weighing 785 grams, was first shown at the Museum of Salzburg, and quickly attracted the attention of scientists. At a meeting of the Historical Society of the Rhineland and Westphalia report about this discovery has made mining engineer Friedrich Goult. Which found that a box is made of steel with a small amount of nickel and, apparently, has a meteoric origin. However, the correct form of the artifact scientist, accidentally or intentionally, he said nothing.
Later repeatedly been suggested that it is – a meteorite, but the treated person. But – for what, for what purpose? Walking around the perimeter NIO groove suggests that a box could be used as a hammer, a rope attached to a stick. But who could handle it 24-67 million years ago? The answer to this question yet, and frankly, is not expected.
More – more. In 1844, and also in Britain, in the nearby town of career Milnfild found steel “nail”, about 2.5 centimeters “hammered” in a compressed sandstone. Its tip, which appeared in a layer of boulder clay, almost completely corroded with rust. A little later the same quarry Kingudi in a piece of quartzite rock was found and another mysterious “parts” – a metal object in the shape of the handle, length 23 cm.
Following these findings under Milnfildom enthusiasts staged active searches of trying to dig out the “door” of which there were a nail and a pen – and maybe the whole “home.” The search came to nothing. And procured objects studied British Association for the Advancement of Science, which, alas, did not bother to determine the depth and age of the sandstone. However, this rock is found in modern times, there can be no more than a few million years.
And then finds literally flooded wave. But the palm, as usual, caught America. In 1851, gold digger Hiram Witt in a piece of quartz found another nail. And in the city of Treasure City, Nevada, in a piece of feldspar produced at great depths, found even more complex “product” – a metal screw length of 5 centimeters, and even with a preserved thread!
Near the town of Dorchester after blasting found the wreckage of the silver-zinc vessel in the shape of a bell, and even with pictures. And in Chillicothe, Illinois, in the mine at a depth of 42 meters dug up several flat circular bronze objects, similar goals – or coins? And all this – prehistoric times … Finally, in the rocks of Texas certain Emma Khan in June 1934 found … A hammer with a handle and a metal knob length of 15 cm and a diameter of about 3 cm Professionals Metallurgical Institute in Columbus, Ohio, surprised the chemical composition This metal artifact 96.6% iron, 2.6% chlorine and 0.74% sulfur.
So pure iron did not manage to get in the history of metallurgy, it is not even subject to the process of rusting. A study conducted by the famous Battelevskoy laboratory showed petrified wooden handle hammer inside turned into coal, gives the opportunity to talk about the age of discovery is not less than 140 million years old.
Texans – people are meticulous, artifacts it was not enough. In 1930, the riverbed Peleksi River in the so-called “valley of the giants” were found to locate traces of the largest dinosaurs of the Cretaceous period. But besides them, a paleontologist KN Doherty found traces of the same person who (judging by the location of the feet), pursued a dinosaur. Another ancient footprints “dinosaur hunter” who discovered geologist Burren in 1931 a few miles from Mount Vernon. The age of geological layers there is 250 million years old.
Today, not only the United States are famous finds NIO. For example, in 1981 in South Africa at a mine metal balls were found in deposits of the mineral pyrophyllite, whose age is already 3 billion years! Slightly flattened sphere with a diameter of 2.5 to 10 centimeters, belted a three grooves are made of an alloy similar to the nickel-plated steel, which in its natural state does not occur naturally.
More than that, as it turned out, one of the balls, placed in a museum, slowly rotating around its axis, making a complete rotation every 128 days. Not a sane version of this phenomenon, scientists still have not submitted.
In Romania, a sand quarry on the banks of the river Mures, workers discovered a mysterious object of length 20.2 cm Apparently, he is a broken piece (surface covered with traces of artifacts from heavy beats) some more complex devices. “Detail” is a complex of a metal alloy, which includes 13 elements, chief among them – aluminum.
We recall that as a material for industrial aluminum products began to be used only in the XIX century. A NIO found next to the remains of the mastodon, the latter of which became extinct about a million years ago. Remains unclear, and its purpose – except that the object was part of a giant trap for Mastodon? This version does not seem ridiculous, if you remember the discovery of archaeologists near the town of Kambia in Rhodesia: the skull of an ancient man with a perfectly straight hole, reminiscent of the bullet track. A similar finding was made in Yakutia, where the skull was found bison that lived 40,000 years ago and received the same level hole in the skull.
What are we left to think? Perhaps millions of years ago on our planet and indeed wandered aliens? Mended as the forces and their equipment broken Frisbees, built temporary huts, littered with unnecessary money, hunted, and at times – and were shot from unexpected enemies. Or were the legendary Atlantis? And the history of mankind, despite the official science, has more than a thousand years, and a lot more? Or all of these finds – the handiwork of skilled forgers, avid to cheap fame?
The truth, as is often the case, lies somewhere in between. A separate the wheat from the chaff, and to place the last point above the “E” will, as usual, the next generation of researchers.
