The Vatican recognized the possible existence of extraterrestrials. “If there are extraterrestrial beings somewhere, they should be treated as our brothers and creation of God,” – said the director of the Vatican Astronomical Observatory, Jose Gabriel Funes. Until now, the Catholic Church avoided simple answers to the question of the existence of extraterrestrials. Changing its position due to the fact that the observatory may have information about the existence of extraterrestrial life. On his own initiative, the Vatican astronomer has long been engaged in this issue. According to the Vatican scientists, the existence of extraterrestrials does not contradict the teachings of the Church of Jesus – the savior of the universe, not just the Earth.
